The cape of Creus is the eastern most point of the Iberian Peninsula, north of the Gulf of Roses. Between land and sea, Cape de Creus is a place of great beauty, endowed with an exceptional geological configuration, structures and outcrops that form a collection, unique in the world. The effect of the north wind has created spectacular forms of erosion. The landscape of the area has been a great source of inspiration for artists, including Salvador Dalí.
The flora and fauna of both the terrestrial and marine are also spectacular. From the tip of the head of crosses, especially in times of passage, interesting seabirds and many cetaceans such as dolphins and whales can be observed.
