Castell Mar – part of a project that follows the migratory route of birds through europe

Camping Castell Mar has the privilege to be part of a project organized by Sounding Wild Exploration which follows the migratory route of birds from Gibraltar to Scandinavia.

The team, composed of the Italian brothers Axel i Ario Drioli, spent a few days on the campsite and its surroundings (the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park) recording sounds and images of birds.

Thanks to virtual reality and specialized audio techniques they transformed these images and sounds into stories with which they intend to convey a strong message in favor of the protection of the environment.

The guests of Castell Mar had the opportunity to attend the screening of the final cut and it was an experience as moving as it was impressive.

We wish the Drioli brothers good luck with this project!
